The energy of backstage, suspended mid-gesture.
Backstage has its own tempo: precise gestures, short breaths, material everywhere. For Dior Backstage, I wanted to keep that tension intact, somewhere between documentary image and 3D.
Every shot looks for the right texture, powder, brush, the raw light of the dressing rooms. A film that doesn't show make-up: it lets it breathe.
