Many clients ask me what a moodtape is. It is a fundamental creative tool in art direction: a rhythmic video edit that assembles existing film excerpts, images and sounds to express a visual and emotional intention before production.
The value of a moodtape lies in its ability to align every team, clients, directors, creatives, on the same mood or tone. It is the video version of the classic moodboard, and it has become essential in the luxury world.
